2007-2008 CCHS Fellowship Competition Announcement

The Canadian Consortium on Human Security (CCHS) is pleased to announce the Human Security Fellowship (HSF) Competition for 2007-2008. Fellowships are a key component of the CCHS program. The HSF Program funds innovative research and policy development on a range of human security issues. The CCHS, funded by the Glyn Berry Program for Peace and Security of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT), directs and administers the Fellowships.

Doctoral Dissertation Research Fellowships

In the 2007-08 competition, Fellowships will be awarded only to doctoral students. Note that the application deadline is December 15, 2007, with announcement of awards given on or before December 21, 2007. Applications must be made in electronic form only. Applications will be evaluated and award winners chosen by a national review committee convened by the CCHS Principal Investigator.

Fellowship information will also be circulated on the CCHS mailing list, which you can join for free by sending a request to cchs.hq@ubc.ca
